Happy New York Bridal Fashion Week! With all the designers showing their new collections, we wanted to share our upcoming trunk show details with YOU! But first, what is a "trunk show" anyway?!
What is a trunk show?
A trunk show is a special event where we invite a specific designer into the store to showcase their collection! Even though Ventura's has over 900 gowns in-store, we do not carry every style from each designer. This allows brides to see more gowns from a specific designer that we may not carry!
How long does a trunk show last?
Each designer is different. They vary in length from a weekend to a whole week-long event. During this time, the gowns are showcased so that brides may browse these new designs!
Am I limited to just these dresses?
Of course not! Even though a trunk show may be running on certain days, your stylist can assist you to see all of our other designers and styles that we carry in the store as well.
How do I decide if I want to book an appointment during a trunk show?
If you have had your eye on a certain designer and feel like your style matches their aesthetic, then it is a great idea to book an appointment during that event! When you come in for your appointment, you can see the designer's collection that they are showcasing, as well as all other styles in the store. Our stylists will listen to exactly what you are looking for and do their best to find your "I Do" gown.

I read the post about the upcoming trunk shows, and it made me excited for new dress styles and fun events in the city.
